My name is Mike Burke and I’m a photographer. I am also known as Mike M Burke in my career as an actor, writer and filmmaker. I got my first camera at seven years old but it wasn’t until I reached 13 years old when it became a passion of mine and specifically landscape photography. No matter where I travel I am always snapping images. Besides photography and filmmaking I am also an entrepreneur with many online businesses. I have multiple shops on Etsy as well teach a few Udemy courses. At the end of the day photography and filmmaking are my true loves.

A Story of Kindness

One of favorite stories comes from when I was 16 and I signed up for a photography course in my high school. At the time my family was struggling and all I had was a point a shoot 35mm. It wasn’t the most ideal camera for the class. My mother suggested I ask my uncle, who was a professional photographer, about what camera would be best and then she would figure out how to get me one. Days later, after the call, out of the blue my uncle comes by the house and gives me one of his 35mm SLR cameras! I was stunned. I would go on to use that camera for years and years before moving onto digital. I still have that camera and it’s a great reminder of my uncle’s kindness.

Published Works

Many years ago, in my early twenty’s, I was notified about a photography book in the works. It was to showcase the best photos from photographers from all around the world. As a whim I submitted some of my favorite images. To my shock one of my photos of a sunset was chosen and included in the book when it was published. Since then I have published a series of my own landscape books and kindle digital versions.

About This Site

Over the years my collection of photographs and art grew and grew. From my days with film prints to digital photography I have filled photo albums and hard drives. It always seemed like such a waste to me that these beautiful images stayed hidden from others to enjoy. I had to change that. Knowing others had my image as prints framed on their walls was such a great thrill. Knowing these moments I captured, that normally would be lost forever, get to live all over the world is a great feeling.

Each photo that is presented here can be purchased as prints. I will have canvas and metal prints available as well. If you see an image you love just click the purchase button and choose your options which includes size and whether to get it framed or not. I have a ton of more images coming as I am always snapping away!
