About This Artwork
It was a dark and gloomy fall day, my favorite type, and hiked deep into the forest and came upon a gothic stone tower. Inside was a spiral staircase that lead right to the top. As I made it to the top I was in for a breathtaking shock! First, the wind was so fierce, it felt like I was going to be blown off the tower and into the valley. Second, the view of New England was amazing! In this photo we are looking at bits of Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont and New Hampshire. According to a print out on the wall, on a clear day you can see New York.
